Designed primarily for commercial use, Carbon is a heavy-duty smart lock that can also be used for residential doors. It fits door thicknesses from 1-3/8” to 2-1/8” and is wide enough to cover a 2-1/8” pre-bored hole. The ANSI grade UL certified mortise lock has an adjustable backset of 2-3/8” or 2-3/4”. Carbon uses a standard Schlage C keyway mortise cylinder and an IC core for increased security and easy cylinder replacement. While the door remains locked from the outside, turning the lever from the inside disengages the lock for a quick exit.
